Scanning Devices Smart Remote Displays are easy to setup and use. These bright 6 Digit LED displays are designed for weighing and other data display applications. Install where protected from weather.
Compatible with any data source that can provide continuous RS-232 or 20ma current-loop signal with asynchronous ASCII data format.
Our displays feature a one button "Learn" function that automatically detects the serial data communications on set-up and will remember the required format even when power is lost. The required parameters and formats are stored in the displays non-volatile memory and recalled on each power-up.
Installation is simple. Securely mount the display, connect the power cord, then connect the serial cable from the data source. Once "Hello is displayed on the front panel, press the LEARN button. The display will go through it's learning mode, then display the data you need. All our displays protected by our 1 year Factory Service Warranty.
Smart Remote Display Model # SRD-0.4L
.4 inch 6 Digit LED Display. The 1/8 DIN plastic enclosure is panel-mounted using the included hardware. Panel cutout is 45mm (H) by 92 mm (W). Attaches to a 120 VAC power supply via a two-screw terminal block on the rear of the enclosure. Attach two-conductor serial data cable to the small green two-screw terminal on the back of the enclosure.
Smart Remote Display Model # SRD-1L
1 inch 6 Digit LED Display. The 1/2 DIN display can be desktop or panel mounted. Includes self-adhesive rubber foot for each corner of the bottom of the enclosure. Can also be panel mounted using
side rail hardware included.
Panel cut-out is 92 mm (H) by 186 mm (W).
A grounded six foot 120 VAC power cord is attached to the back of the display. Plug the cord into a three-wire grounded outlet. Attach two-conductor serial data cable to the two-position screw terminal block on the back of the enclosure.
Heavy Duty Smart Remote Displays
Model#s SRD-2L & SRD-4L
2 inch and 4 inch displays feature solid painted steel cases with adjustable mounting brackets. These heavy duty displays can be attached securely to a wall or mounted on a flat surface using screws or bolts. Installed through the six 1/4" diameter holes in the mounting bracket (screws not provided).
A grounded six foot 120 VAC power cord is attached to the back of the display. Plug the cord into a three-wire grounded outlet. The power cord is attached to the display at a 3-screw barrier strip mounted on the inside back wall of the enclosure. The cord may be removed and replaced with an alternate power cord.
Feed a two-conductor serial data cable through the strain relief in the enclosure lower wall and securely connect to the green plug-in connector on the SRD's printed circuit board.
